The Literator quarter is located in the prestigious Khamovniki district on ulitsa Leo Tolstogo. Its location, 2.5 km from the Kremlin and just 300 meters from the Garden Ring, provides excellent transport accessibility. The Park Kultury metro station is a 5-minute walk away, and the Frunzenskaya metro station is also nearby. The quarter was built on the site of the former Khamovniki Brewery.
The complex was named a laureate of the 2017 Golden Section award. Seven monolithic buildings of varying heights form four intimate, car-free courtyards. The facades are finished with rich red hand-molded brick and light-colored natural stone.
